Summary

The main objectives of this project are the following:

  • Generate the cybersecurity knowledge necessary to provide a solution to the Advanced and Intelligent Business of the Basque Industry, prevent attacks and protect the business of Basque Industrial Companies, researching within a comprehensive cybersecurity framework, and relying on a New Generation of secure components that integrate into the industrial ecosystem.

  • Guarantee the competitiveness and excellence of the agents of the Basque Research Network, around first-class cybersecurity technologies (with TRL 3 and 4 scopes, which in subsequent phases of the project reach TRL 5, 6 and 7 scopes) appropriate to the needs of the Basque industrial fabric, so that they can be easily transferred.

  • Promote and complement the strategy of the Basque Cybersecurity Center through the distributed laboratory in which various members of the consortium participate.

Ceit's role in the project

Ceit hopes to obtain a demonstrator that is capable of attracting new customers by making them aware of the need to develop cybersecure IoT solutions, showing the capabilities Ceit has acquired in this Elkartek.

The proofs of concept that will be developed within the IoT cybersecurity demonstrator to be developed within the framework of this project, will allow in the future to create functional blocks or modules that can be reusable cross-sectionally in the different solutions related to various application sectors, such as They could well be remote monitoring applications in what would be industry 4.0, transport or health.
