Embedded sensors (optical and electrical)
Ceit has the ability to integrate sensors into parts in order to measure variables such as deformation or temperature and in sectors such as automotion or aeronautics. The information collected by sensors finds application in improving system operability as well as in routine preventive/predictive maintenance. The technology used to fabricate embedded sensors is based on additive manufacturing techniques such as film deposition through physical vapor deposition, chemical vapor deposition, or the printing of functional inks, and following fabrication the sensor material may later undergo laser functionalization. Ceit has experience in the electronic, optical and magnetic operating principles of these embedded sensors, as well as electrical, optical or RF interrogation.
