Industrial manufacturing

The manufacturing industry is being fully transformed, driven by the need to increase its efficiency, reduce environmental impact and adapt to increasingly digital environments. We at Ceit provide technological solutions ranging from the design and improvement of materials to the optimisation of production processes, and including the integration of artificial intelligence, robotics, sensor systems and in-plant cybersecurity. Our approach combines major expertise in metallurgy, simulation and automation using key technologies in order to advance towards smarter, more secure and sustainable production.

Capacities

Advanced materials
We develop special steels, hard metals, non-ferrous alloys and materials that are resistant to high temperatures and hostile environments, and which are optimised for demanding industrial applications. Our track record includes the design of new grades and their characterisation, thus ensuring optimum performance under critical conditions.
Further informationSteel forming
We apply analytical and numerical models with a view to simulating processes such as forging, lamination and cold forming. We integrate simulation software and parameter optimisation tools in order to reduce faults and improve the efficiency and sustainability of industrial processes.
Further informationDesign and mechanical behaviour
We design and validate complex mechanical systems by taking dynamics, vibrations, tribology and fatigue into consideration. We assess the reliability of critical components using predictive models and tests to ensure proper functioning during their lifespan..
Más informaciónAdditive manufacturing and powder metallurgy
We provide solutions based on technologies such as L-DED, PBF, HIP and binder jetting. We are also working on powder metallurgy processes such as uniaxial forming and sintering, which are essential for the manufacture of high-precision components, including magnetic materials, hard metals and special alloys.
Further informationPrecision laser manufacturing
We develop processes using ultrashort (femtosecond) pulse lasers for high-precision machining, functional texturing, complex mould manufacturing and decorative finishes. These solutions are applied on metals, polymers and glass.
Further informationSmart factory
We integrate collaborative robotics, operator assistance systems, sensorization and positioning with a view to optimising tasks and improving ergonomics and efficiency. We help to transform the industrial plant into a connected, resilient ecosystem via monitoring systems, quality control, digital twins and cybersecure environments.
Further informationArtificial intelligence in manufacturing
We apply AI to control robots, and 2D and 3D artificial vision for quality control, and also prediction of faults. We develop explainable models that can be integrated into decision-making systems to ensure optimisation in terms of performance and informed decision-making.
Further informationIn-plant cybersecurity
We design systems to ensure the protection of critical infrastructures, internal communications and industrial devices. We use methodologies such as SecDevOps, real-time detection of anomalies and hybrid testbeds in order to validate the security of digital environments in manufacturing.
Further informationDigital twins for manufacturing
We model industrial processes in the form of digital replicas to enable real-time operations to be simulated, faults anticipated, and decision-making improved. These systems are integrated using monitoring platforms and predictive maintenance tools.
