Ceit at the International Circular Economy Meeting
Researcher Enrique Aymerich presented an overview of the Circular Economy Lab
Ceit was at the International Circular Economy Meeting, which brought to San Sebastián experts from national and international organizations for the purpose of sharing and analyzing experiences in the circular economy in Europe. Among the speakers at the meeting was Enrique Aymerich, Director of the Water and Health division at Ceit, who discussed the challenges of implementing the Circular Economy Lab, alongside co-presenter Xabier Esteban, director of Naturklima (Climate Change Foundation of Gipuzkoa).
This initiative arises from the collaboration between the Naturklima foundation and Ceit, and in collaboration with the Guipuzkoa Provincial Council’s department of the environment. The Circular Economy Lab’s activity will include providing technical guidance, drawing up a waste map for the province, running dissemination and awareness campaigns, developing a pioneering laboratory for waste recovery, and carrying out pilot testing, among others.
The Circular Economy Lab was created to help companies in Gipuzkoa adopt and develop a Circular Economy model.
