Ceit develops a wheel-mounted direct-drive railway traction system using synchronous motors (with permanent magnets), designed to reduce the weight of traction and increase its performance in high-speed trains.

This system allows a traction that triples the power densities available in the market, reaching values close to 3 kW/kg. It relies on distributed traction, optimizing energy consumption and reducing maintenance. Thanks to its scalable design and type of traction, it adapts to different railway configurations, improving stability, control, and train adhesion to the track.
