ECOH2MOVE
Development of Innovative Hydrogen Storage Tanks for Applications in Mobility.

Summary
Hydrogen-based energy systems require storage and transport solutions to be robust, safe and adapted to every application. Owing to the low energy density of hydrogen in terms of volume, it needs to be compressed and liquefied, which poses technical challenges with regard to efficiency, safety and sustainability.
To meet this need, the EcoH2Move project focuses on the development of type IV hydrogen storage tanks manufactured using composite materials and polymer lining. These innovative tanks need to be lighter and more sustainable and efficient, thus allowing for greater storage pressure, facilitating recyclability and providing greater geometric flexibility for optimum integration in mobility applications..
Objective
Design and develop light, sustainable and highly efficient type IV hydrogen storage tanks for mobility applications, thus increasing supported pressure, recyclability and versatility in terms of their geometry.
