- Refractory material manufacturers
- Industrial furnace manufacturers
- Cement industry
- Fiber-based thermal insulation manufacturers

REFRACT, a technological solution for adapting refractory materials to new industrial processes aimed at decarbonization, such as combustion with green hydrogen. In addition, we are researching the development of a recycling process for used refractory materials and the addition of the recovered material into new formulations. This dual line of work makes it possible to reduce emissions, improve the sustainability of thermal processes, and offer more efficient alternatives for sectors such as steelmaking, cement, or industrial furnace manufacturing.
Problem solved
REFRACT addresses the challenge of adapting refractory materials to new descarbonisation processes in industry, such as the use of green hydrogen as an alternative energy source to fossil fuels at various stages of the production process for steel, aluminium, or ceramic material production. It also promotes the reuse of recycled raw materials from end-of-life linings, reducing the carbon footprint associated with mineral extraction and fostering a circular economy in refractory material manufacturing.
