Bilbao acoge la presentación de las conclusiones y oportunidades del proyecto 5G Euskadi

Bat Accelerator Tower today hosted an institutional event to present the main conclusions and use cases of the 5G Euskadi initiative, a unique pilot in Spain involving 19 companies and public and private organisations; four telecommunications operators (Euskaltel, R, MASMOVIL and Orange) as technological enablers of the solutions and use cases; and the Ceit technology centre as developer of a remote assistance solution for operators through augmented reality.

The aim of the joint initiative has been to deploy and enable a real 5G network in the three Basque Technology Parks (Bizkaia, Gipuzkoa and Araba), as well as to carry out 9 use cases aimed at promoting the deployment of products and services using 5G technology, with a main focus on the areas of mobility, energy, industry, cybersecurity and network services.

The Congress will be a forum for technical and scientific discussion for the exchange of ideas and experiences between academia and industry, where attendees will be able to learn about the latest innovations and market trends in powder metallurgy and manufacturing.
