Summary
Objectives of the project:
-
Manufacture of nanostructured materials (nanowire type) based on metal oxides. SnO2 nanofibers and nanofibers.
-
Development of new resistive sensors based on the previous materials for security applications. Problems transferring materials to membranes. Membrane thermal stability.
-
Development of a portable and wireless platform for resistive sensors.
-
Optimization of SH-SAW (LOVE) mass sensors for liquids and gases.
-
Design of microfluidic cells for liquid measurements with SH-SAW sensors.
-
Optimization of cantilever-type MEMS sensors.
-
Integration with chromatographic systems.
Ceit's role in the project
Development of materials and electrochemical and resistive sensor devices for detection of polluting and dangerous gases.
