On June 6th and 7th, San Sebastián will become the capital of intelligent transport systems.
The International Workshop on Communication Technologies for Vehicles (NETS4) will be held next year in Donostia-San Sebastian, hosted by the Ceit-IK4 Technology Center. This international conference meets every year, bringing together researchers from different countries who work on advancing the field of intelligent transportation systems (ITS). The workshop’s focus is of relevance for the aerospace and railway sectors, as well as for sectors that are related to transportation by road and highway (cars, buses, etc.).
The workshop provides an ideal platform for presenting advances in intelligent transport systems, although there will also be sessions that deal with technology currently in use. The main themes of the workshop are “Communication in the transport sector”, “Information management” and “Validation, certification, and standardisation”, though projects that go beyond these three research areas are welcome.
The workshop has been held every year since 2009, when the first meeting took place in Saint Petersburg. For the next meeting, Donostia takes the baton from Sousse (Tunisia), who hosted the last meeting this past May.

Researchers are invited to submit projects that have not been previously published for consideration. Submissions must be in English, have a maximum of 12 pages (8 for not yet completed work), and follow single-column LNCS format. Those interested in participating can get more information here.
