Transport digitalisation

Transport digitalisation is key to transforming mobility and making it more efficient, safer and sustainable. We develop state-of-the-art solutions that combine communications, control, perception, artificial intelligence and positioning technologies, promoting the integration of smart systems in road, rail and logistics transport. Our track record ranges from instrumentation and monitoring to the design of cybersecure environments and the creation of digital twins, in line with future mobility demands.
Solutions

Signalling systems
We develop state-of-the-art signalling technologies and embedded systems to ensure interoperability and efficient control in rail and road infrastructures. These solutions improve reliability and optimise the transport flow.
Cooperative, connected and automated mobility
We implement connected transport systems that integrate vehicles and infrastructure networks, thus favouring safer and more automated mobility. These systems enable there to be real-time communication and an improvement in traffic coordination.
Cybersecure environments for transport
We design and validate cybersecure environments to protect critical infrastructures and transport systems against digital threats. We apply solutions based on state-of-the-art cybersecurity and risk assessments to ensure the resilience of the systems involved.
Digital twins for transport
We develop digital twins that enable vehicle behaviour and infrastructures to be simulated and monitored in real time. These tools facilitate the optimisation of processes, the use of complex geometries, predictive maintenance and fundamental decision-making.
AI for the transport sector
We apply artificial intelligence with a view to optimising processes in transport, including automatic learning algorithms for predicting traffic, route optimisation, estimation in terms of quality of life, identification of occlusions and faults, and improvement in energy consumption in rail and road systems.
Monitoring and sensor systems
We integrate state-of-the-art sensor and instrumentation systems with a view to obtaining real-time data regarding the state of vehicles and infrastructure, thus enabling there to be dynamic analyses and accurate diagnoses.
Localization systems
We develop state-of-the-art positioning systems based on radiofrequency technologies (uwb, gnss) and artificial vision to ensure safety and efficiency when monitoring vehicles and goods.
