Anchor companies, suppliers and research centers will come together in Berlin for the biennial meeting, which is a leading industry event

Last week researchers from Ceit-IK4's Railway Group attended the biennial InnoTrans trade fair in Berlin to demonstrate their technologies for the rail sector. Researchers Unai Alvarado and Jaizki Mendizabal, in discussing the importance of participating in InnoTrans, highlight the event as “a way to maintain and improve our market position and to strengthen our relationships with clients and our European project partners “.

Ceit-IK4 had their own stand at InnoTrans 2018, where they demonstrated their Mainrail infrastructure maintenance technology at the multi-day, large-scale event, which hosted over 150,000 visitors and is considered the global meeting point for the railway sector. The Basque delegation, led by Spri, the regional government’s business development agency, included the companies CAF, Ikusi, Arteche, Ingeteam, Lander Simulation and Xubi, and Ceit-IK4, the only research center in the delegation.
