Induction Heating Technology is an advanced thermomechanical treatment of steel. It spans multiple areas of physics including electronics, electromagnetics, thermodynamics and mechanics. With the aim of controlling every step of the process, the proposed research theme is focused on the development of digital twins to predict the system outcome.
Our objective is to apply intelligent networking to bridge both the real and the digital process. This strategy would allow acting in real-time, which will result in important advantages such as minimizing manufacturing failures and process optimization.
