First meeting of Ceit’s Strategic Council under the new management
The centre’s advisory body meets for the first time in 2026 to review the results of the previous year and set the priorities for the new strategic cycle.

Yesterday, 22 January, the first meeting of Ceit’s Strategic Council in 2026 was held at the Hotel Tres Reyes in San Sebastián. This meeting was also the first since the official appointment, on 1 January, of Iñaki Díaz as the new Director of the centre and Igone Vélez as the new Scientific Director.
During the meeting, the activity carried out by Ceit over the previous year was presented, with the aim of providing the Council with an overall view of the work developed at the centre. In addition, the main challenges and goals planned for 2026 were shared.
The session also marks the beginning of a new cycle for Ceit, which starts with the launch of the Strategic Plan 2026–2029, designed to guide the centre’s activity in the coming years.
