Workshop: "FABRICARE: smart manufacturing in collaborative environments"

22 | 05 | 2025
- When: June 5, 2025
- Where: Bilbao Exhibition Centre, Hall 1. Innovation Workshops Area
- Schedule: from 9:45 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Over the past three years, the use of advanced technologies such as virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR), mobile robotics, and sensory systems has experienced significant advances that are revolutionizing the industrial sector. These innovations not only optimize machine design and improve plant maintenance and control, but also enhance operator training, opening up new business opportunities and industrial applications.
As a result, companies are increasingly demanding innovative industrial solutions in this field to improve processes, reduce time, and increase safety while also cutting costs.
FABRICARE is an event that offers a unique forum to discover the latest research lines involving various technologies in smart manufacturing within collaborative environments.
This event will focus on four technologies: digital twins, human-machine interfaces, collaborative robotics, and mobile robotics, targeting a wide variety of sectors in the production ecosystem: aerospace, automotive, food, machinery, energy, telecommunications, major scientific infrastructures, and more.

About FABRICARE
FABRICARE is a project led by Ceit, whose mission is to optimize current manufacturing processes through the implementation of collaborative and mobile robotics, as well as advanced perception systems that ensure safety. These elements will be integrated into a digital twin modeling and simulation platform. This platform will allow not only simulation and early analysis of the production process but also real-time monitoring and control. To facilitate interaction with this platform, advanced interfaces will be developed using various technologies.
Where the whole industry meets: +Industry
As part of the +Industry Fair, the main meeting point for Smart Manufacturing, this event will showcase the different technologies implemented in FABRICARE, which help improve processes, reduce time, increase safety, and cut costs.
