The global navigation satellite system, better known as GPS/GNSS, is undoubtedly the most widely used system for positioning elements of a vehicle fleet. Originally designed to support military aeronautical navigation, this technology is now being applied in complex environments such as cities, subway areas and even in places where it is not possible to determine the location using satellite signals.
