Researchers from Ceit e Integrasys S.A., under the supervision of representatives of the San Sebastián and Gipuzkoa firefighters, have tested a device for locating people in emergency situations on Mount Ulia in San Sebastián.

These tests are a first step to validate the technology developed within the AIOSAT project, whose objective is to exploit the options of the European Galileo positioning system.

AIOSAT is a project funded by the European Union within the framework of the H2020 program and is coordinated by Ceit, a member of the BRTA. This project is aligned with Ceit's ICT development strategy.
