Subdivision
CEIT focuses its research and development efforts on three distinctive technological areas, each embracing several R&D lines:
Thermomechanical Treatments
The unit focuses its activity on the development of advanced steel grades and the optimization of steel processing routes.
Mechanics and Modelling of Materials and Processes (M3P)
The MP3 unit focuses on the mechanical properties of materials and their processes, at macoscopic and meso/micro/nanoscopic levels
Consolidation of Metallic and Ceramic Powders
The unit focuses its activity on the development of metallic and ceramic powder with tailored properties, from the powder production to their practical industrial applications
